Helping Others is at the Core of The A Team’s Culture

At The A Team, giving back is an important part of who we are. We measure our success not only in terms of business results, but also by the ways we can help the communities and organizations we serve. This commitment reflects our shared belief in showing up, giving back, and contributing to something bigger than ourselves.

The A Team Cares True Grit Award

Through our A Team Cares Nonprofit Practice, we support philanthropic organizations that strengthen communities and create meaningful impact. In 2025, we created The A Team Cares True Grit Award to recognize a nonprofit organization that exemplifies resilience, creativity, grit, and commitment to service. We were proud to present the first annual True Grit Award to Howie’s Heart, a Long Island, New York, family-run 501(c)3 non-profit.

Founded to honor their father’s legacy of compassion and service, Howie’s Heart brings children, teens, and families together through thoughtfully designed volunteer experiences that spread kindness and build connections. Their work supports vulnerable communities while creating inclusive opportunities for families of all abilities to give back side-by-side. Through shared experiences for its participants, Howie’s Heart helps foster empathy, confidence, and a lasting sense of belonging.

We Dedicate Our Time and Resources

Our Team members are also passionate about various other causes including Canine Companions, sustainable agriculture, ocean conservation, people with special needs, and more. Giving back is deeply woven into the fabric of our Team, and we are committed to working together to maintain our meaningful involvement in community service.
