Tedd Drattell is founder and CEO of The A Team Group of companies. As the leader of The A Team Group, he is a key strategist in client relationships and business management and development. Tedd’s take-charge attitude combined with his extensive background in operations and finance, both in the private and public sectors, helps ensure that The A Team Group of companies provides the best talent and business recommendations to effectively and successfully meet each client’s needs.

 

Prior to founding The A Team Group of companies, Tedd was the President of The A Team Executive Management. Tedd has also had experience as CPA with Big 4 accounting firms, and as a CFO at privately held corporations in the apparel, manufacturing, wholesaling, and importing industries.

Actively involved in the business and local communities, Tedd is a founder of N3 and the Long Island Professional Alliance. He is also a board member of both the Entrepreneurs Organization of New York and the New York Staffing Association.

Tedd received his accounting degree from the University of Maryland. He and his wife live in Westchester County, New York.

Kate Post is President of The A Team Group of companies.  Kate has over 34 years of experience in the staffing and outsourcing industry where she began with Dartmouth Consultants as a partner in professional direct hire placement.  After  14 years at Dartmouth, Kate joined Forrest Solutions where she had an impressive 20 year career  serving as Vice President of both the direct hire and the temporary group’s  business lines, setting up  and running the operations department of outsourcing, and then in developing and growing the outsourcing practice.  As the company grew and expanded,  Kate became a partner and the COO, effectively running the firm on a daily basis.  

Kate brings her extensive staffing and outsourcing experience and talents to The A Team where she runs Adamas Concierge which provides front and back of the house talent to luxury condos and co-ops, and Aurum Staffing which provides temporary, temp to perm and direct hire talent across a wide range of industries.

Kate is a member, and has served on the board of the New York Staffing Association and the American Staffing Association.

DEBRA PHILLIPES

As Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of The A Team Group, Debra wears many hats. She is responsible for legal matters, human resources, marketing and a multitude of administrative functions.

Since graduating from law school in 1984, Debra has worked at major national and international law firms, at UCLA School of Law, and in the office of the general counsel at both Hilton Hotels Corporation and Fred Sands Realtors. She has also held executive director positions at two non-profit organizations, and has done a variety of pro-bono work for indigent and special needs clients.

Debra received her law degree from Harvard Law School and her undergraduate degree from Duke University.

JOHNNY CARUSO

As Director of Champions of Adamas Concierge, Johnny Caruso is in charge of the supervision of our Adamas Service Champions. Johnny is committed to the “white glove” diamond class service that Adamas is known for, and he instills the commitment in his team.

Johnny has a lifetime of hospitality experience, starting with his participation in his own family’s restaurant business. In 1996, after “learning the ropes” in the family business, Johnny embarked on his hotel career, working for major national and internation hotel companies, including Marriott, Westin, and Hilton. After 13 years in hospitality, Johnny joined Wentworth Property Management where he oversaw the operations of a developing luxury high rise community.

In addition to his vast professional accomplishments, Johnny has learned a great deal as a condo owner, and a member of the Board of Directors of his condo association.

JILL ROSENFELD

With more than 25 years of experience, Vice President of Aurum Staffing, Jill Rosenfeld,  is a recognized leader in the recruitment and staffing industry. During her impressive career Jill has held the position of Managing Director at highly regarded recruiting firms and Human Resources Generalist at an international advertising agency.  Additionally, she was the sole owner of The Harper Group/Temps by Harper.  Jill brings her talents in all areas of support staff and middle management hiring to Aurum Staffing where she is in charge of recruitment and placement of temporary, temp to hire and direct hire for our clients.

Over the years , Jill has been called upon to provide her expertise on a number of news programs, and in many books and magazines including NBC World News Tonight, The New York Post, Essence Magazine and Smart Questions, A Guide to Interviewing.  Her clients include a vast array of industries and corporations of all sizes.

Jill is a graduate of the George Washington University and is proud to have won several awards in her field.

TINA TAYLOR

As Staffing Manager of Aurum Staffing, Tina brings to Aurum both internal and external recruiting and human resources experience in several fields, including Accounting and Finance.

Prior to joining Aurum, Tina was a Senior Recruiter for The A Team. Tina has also held the position of Staffing Manager with Robert Half International, a staffing firm with locations worldwide. Tina also gained valuable experience at Express Employment Professionals where she was responsible for the full life cycle of: sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, as well as business development and marketing. Tina has also worked in the Human Resources Department of Advanced Health Media. Tina received her degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Human Resources, from Berkeley College in New York. In addition to working full-time, she is also pursuing her MBA.

NEIL MILLER

Senior Vice President Neil Miller engages in business development and acts as the outsourced Controller for many A Team clients, monitoring their financial health and providing much needed stability to organizations in flux.  Giving guidance to senior management on both financial and general business issues, Neil has become a trusted and valued resource for his Clients.

Prior to joining The A Team, Neil was the Controller at a major New York City based law firm. Throughout his career, Neil has gained experience in varied industries having worked with large firms including Bristol-Myers Squibb, JP Morgan, and Dun & Bradstreet, and with many smaller companies as well.

Neil holds both a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Business Administration from Temple University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor.

ESMERALDA DINE

Accounting Manager Esmeralda Dine handles many day to day operations and accounting responsibilities for The A Team Group, as well as providing accounting services to several A Team Outsourcing Clients. Esmeralda’s exceptional work ethic, dedication and professionalism combine to make her a highly valued and trusted member of our team.

Prior to joining The A Team, Esmeralda was Assistant Controller for design company and then for a major New York City law firm. Esmeralda gained considerable practical experience while working and going to school full time.

Esmeralda received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in Economics, from Baruch College in New York.

MATT RICHTER

Senior Associate, Matt Richter, engages in business development and assists A Team Outsourcing clients in improving the function of their Accounting and Finance departments, implementing proper internal controls and developing sound policies and procedures.

Prior to joining The A Team, Matt provided interim Controller services to a variety of companies and consulting firms including Tatum, LLC and Geller & Company. Throughout his career, Matt has specialized in creative and effective problem-solving for a diverse set of industries. He excels in making complex issues understandable for clients, management, and staff; and he adds value by improving the quality of information provided by the accounting function.

Matt holds a Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University School of Business and a Bachelors of Arts from Kenyon College.  He is a Certified Public Accountant.
